are set to monitor the loan move of after Carlisle sacked their manager , according to the Chronicle.

The newspaper claimed on their website that after the League Two side decided to part ways with Pressley, the could take action on the rarely-used 20-year-old.

The Chronicle have reported that are very likely to be prompted into reviewing his loan at Brunton Park, similar to how they did during his time at last .

Sorensen has only made 10 appearances this season, with the majority coming off the bench meaning he has failed to score so far in all competitions.

This could work in either of two ways for the Newcastle youngster. Sorensen will no doubt be massively disappointed with how the loan spell at Carlisle has started in the first few months of the season in regards to his record in front of goal, and the fact that he hasn’t been playing as much as he would have envisaged when making the move. Pressley being sacked could mean that the new manager could come in and give him a fresh start, therefore using him more. On the other hand, a new boss could arrive and not take much of a fancy to the young forward, who was specifically brought into the club by the departing manager. The 20-year-old needs to use this as motivation to impress the new manager, but he must keep his thoughts concentrating on the football and improving himself, rather than the possibility of being recalled as it could really affect his general progression.
