Florin Andone has taken to Instagram to send a message to Newcastle United favourite Fabian Schar.
The Swiss defender is currently sidelined through injury but posted on his personal account to wish his international teammates good luck ahead of their 1-0 win over Georgia on Friday evening.
And responding to that post, Andone, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Brighton, said: “Guapo”, which translates into English as “Handsome”.

To be fair to Andone, Schar is an absolute dreamboat, but most Newcastle fans will be swooning more at the prospect of him returning to first team action. The Swiss defender is arguably the Magpies’ best player when he’s on song, and not having him in the side is always a blow. So far this season he has averaged 2.4 tackles, 2.4 interceptions, and 5.1 clearances per match, as per Whoscored. Taking that kind of presence out of a side is always going to be a major loss, but it’s Schar’s composure on the ball, and his average of 3.7 successful long passes shows that he provides a unique threat to get the Toon Army moving on the front foot too. With Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron on the wings, that could be a real asset.
