It seems as though Bruce has plans to use in his Newcastle side this season after the returned from with a cameo appearance against Chelsea last week. Speaking in his press conference today (Friday), as quoted by Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie, Bruce said that it’s “nice to finally have” Gayle available and that he is set to feature in Sunday’s clash against Wolves at St James’ Park. Gayle’s goalscoring record in the Premier League is not great with just 21 goals in 100 top-flight outings – and that has led to a lot of concerns from a section of Newcastle fans on Twitter. has struggled to hit the target so far for the Magpies with him scoring just once since his club-record switch from Hoffenheim in the summer. Gayle is a lot more used to playing in the Premier League than Joelinton but his impressive record on at West Brom last term is proving to be irrelevant among concerned supporters. Who can blame them though?
