Allan Saint-Maximin had the Manchester United defence on strings on Sunday and the Newcastle United winger continued to be the thorn in the side of the Red Devils on Twitter on Monday. Saint-Maximin, 22, had been told by one Man United fan before the match that he should prepare himself to lose to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. Of course, Newcastle won 1-0 with Saint-Maximin being one of the best players on the pitch, so the French attacker brought up that tweet and simply replied with “ok” and a shrugging emoji, via his personal Twitter account. Some Man United fans who replied to the tweet have either seen the funny side or are now urging their club to sign the former Nice and Monaco winger after he impressed at St James’ Park on Sunday. With how Solskjaer’s side is playing right now, just about anyone from Steve Bruce’s squad at the weekend could do a job at Old Trafford. Man United were woeful.
