Mauricio Pochettino is predicted to make one change to his starting line-up ahead of Tottenham’s clash against Newcastle United in North London on Sunday afternoon.

Son Heung-min is available for selection after serving a suspension in the first two matches of the season and could come straight into the Spurs attack as Steve Bruce’s men travel to the capital city.

That might mean that Moussa Sissoko is axed from the side that drew 2-2 at Manchester City last week.

Hugo Lloris is predicted to start in goals behind an unchanged back-four of Kyle Walker-Peters, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose.

According to the Daily Mail, Pochettino has been unimpressed by Jan Vertonghen’s fitness and while the Belgium international was on the bench at Man City on Saturday, there’s a good chance that the Spurs boss will stick with the same back-line against Steve Bruce’s Newcastle.

Harry Winks and summer signing Tanguy Ndombele could start as the two central midfielders as both of them can offer something different and £80,000-a-week [Spotrac] Sissoko is perhaps too similar a player to ex-Lyon ace Ndombele.

Giovani Lo Celso made his debut off the bench last week but it may still be too soon for him to get in the starting line-up.

In the attack, Christian Eriksen is likely to keep his spot and Erik Lamela could start on the right with Son coming in on the left.

Harry Kane is expected to start up front against a Newcastle side that has lost their opening two matches and conceded four goals in the process.
