Matty Longstaff is set to make his United debut on Wednesday night when play against City in the second round of the Carabao Cup and understandably, a lot of on Twitter are excited by the news. ’s decision to start the 19-year-old, who is the younger brother of Sean, was confirmed on Newcastle’s official Twitter account an hour before kick-off and now fans are waiting to see whether or not he will be a hit, like his sibling at St James’ Park. Longstaff impressed when he was played in pre- but playing against Leicester in a competitive setting is going to be a completely different kettle of fish. It does not help that has named a very strong Leicester side for their trip to the North-East, so players like Longstaff will really have to step up in order to help Newcastle reach the third round of the competition.
