Newcastle United are unlikely to sign £20million-rated Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie.
The reporter claimed via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday evening that Steve Bruce is interested in signing the 22-year-old Wales international but Liverpool have not made him available on loan.
Newcastle are unlikely to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson because he isn’t available on loan. Steve Bruce keen on the player but Jurgen Klopp doesn’t want to loan him again. We’re told he’s valued at £20m #NUFC

Wilson spent last season on loan at Derby County and it is understood that Jurgen Klopp isn’t keen on sending the forward out on a temporary basis again.
OPINION
It is a shame that Newcastle are unable to sign Wilson because last season he was one of the best players in the Championship while on loan at Derby and was clearly good enough to be playing in the Premier League. While on loan at Pride Park, Wilson scored 18 goals and supplied 16 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions as the Rams reached the play-off final at Wembley before defeat to Aston Villa ended their bid for promotion. Newcastle need attacking reinforcements. Although they have signed Joelinton and gained Dwight Gayle and Jacob Murphy following their loan spells at West Brom, Salomon Rondon, Kenedy, Ayoze Perez and Joselu have all left St James’ Park, leaving Bruce with an attack force that is far worse than what Rafa Benitez had at his disposal. Wilson can play on either wing or in a number 10 role. He could have been the perfect replacement for Perez. Mike Ashley needs to splash the cash and sanction a £20million permanent deal as soon as possible.
