Newcastle fans urge club to sign Hull star Jarrod Bowen

Chronicle journalist Mark Douglas has claimed that Newcastle United could pull off a swoop to sign a winger from the Championship this summer and that has understandably led to a lot of speculation among the Toon Army. While there are plenty of wingers in the second-tier that Steve Bruce could set his sights on, one player who many Newcastle fans are urging the club to sign is Hull City star Jarrod Bowen. It’s not hard to see why they would want him either. Bowen, 22, scored 22 goals in 46 Championship appearances last season. He has played under Bruce at the KCOM Stadium, so he’s a player that the new Magpies boss knows well and might be able to get the best out of in the Premier League. Bowen is a bright young talent who looked ready for a step up to the Premier League last season. In January, the Daily Mail reported that Bowen is someone who is on Newcastle’s radar. It wouldn’t be a shock if Douglas was on about the electric Hull forward.
