Newcastle United fan account NUFC Online posted two photos on their personal Twitter account on Wednesday of a rumoured Magpies home shirt for next season. The overall reaction from supporters, it has to be said, has been entirely negative. They’re clearly not happy with the shirt and don’t see it as being particularly original or attractive in any way. To be fair, they’re not wrong. This shirt simply doesn’t look like a Newcastle home shirt. These black and white stripes are simply too think, not in the vein of a Magpies shirt. Plus, the badge in the middle of the shirt, with the Puma logo above it, just doesn’t look right. As one supporters said, it looks more like a home shirt. It looks a little out of place how everything on the shirt is so central, with the two Puma logos on the sleeves. Ultimately, as mentioned earlier, this just doesn’t look like a proper Newcastle shirt, so hopefully this proves to be a fake.
