OPINION
It is not surprising in the slightest that this section of Newcastle United fans have drooled over the performance of their new signing Miguel Almiron against Burnley on Tuesday. He was excellent and he really caused havoc all evening, and that is just the thing that many of the supporters have been waiting for. Yes, he did not get on the scoresheet, but looking at the way he was playing, it will not be long before he scores his debut goal for the Magpies. Two of the fans here have suggested that Almiron offers something different to the team – something that they have not seen before – and that can only be good news to boss Rafa Benitez in terms of the relegation battle this season. He needs all of the talent he can get his hands on right now, and it is safe to say that Almiron possesses that in abundance.
