OPINION
Brazilian flyer Kenedy really has gone from hero to zero at St. James’ Park this season. The 22-year-old became an instant fan favourite with his performances on loan from Chelsea last season, with the left-sided flyer playing a huge part in their charge up the table at the end of the campaign. Those displays then led to another loan spell on Tyneside, a prospect which obviously excited many fans, who had witnessed his impact the previous term. This time round has been vastly different though, with the youngster failing to find any kind of form so far this season. His poor displays have led many Newcastle fans to turn on him, with the reaction below to his performance in their 2-0 loss against Watford in the FA Cup fourth round illustrating that. It has also led to questions about his future on Tyneside, with many fans now believing he is taking up a valuable domestic loan place, with the club allowed just two such players. Rafa Benitez has dismissed suggestions of his deal being cut short, but with performances like that it is no surprise that some fans are questioning his place in the squad.
Nothing but Newcastle have rounded up some of the best tweets below.
This might be controversial within #NUFC fans, but….
If given the chance & without a huge financial punishment, I’d send Kenedy back to Chelsea & look to bring in someone else.

Not terminating Kenedy's loan spell and sending him packing back to Chelsea's reserves could be one of the biggest mistakes we make this season! #nufc

What has happened to Kenedy! Looks like a guy who can’t wait until loan over so he can go back to Chelsea. Hayden been such a disappointment for years now. Joselu .. enough said. Murphy been lone bright spot as far as attacking threat. #NUFC #FACup

Manquillo, Joselu & Kenedy have been typically poor again this afternoon

Honestly, just terminate Kenedy and get any random loan from Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool etc.
Would a Loftus-Cheek or Foden be unrealistic for 4 months?

Kenedy looks like he's on holiday out there
