Newcastle United have reportedly been in talks with several big European clubs as manager Rafa Benitez pushes for a much-needed loan arrival.

As reported by the Chronicle, the Magpies have been in contact with clubs in Italy, Spain and Portugal over potential loan signings in the next ten days.

Benitez is said to be seeking three new arrivals this month, with the Spaniard keen to secure a striker, a winger and a left-back before the window closes next week.

Among the clubs which have been spoken to is Juventus, with the Bianconeri willing to listen to offers for left-back Leonardo Spinazzola and young striker Moise Kean.

18-year-old Kean is certainly a player of interest to Newcastle, with the Magpies having scouted him more than a dozen times over the last few months.

And securing a deal for the one-cap Italy international would be a brilliant way for the club to kickstart their January business.

Kean is one of the continent’s most highly-rated youngsters, with the speedy forward breaking into the Juventus first-team at just 16 years old.

His development since then has been slightly stunted by the wealth of options ahead of him at Juventus, and you feel as though a loan move away would be the perfect decision for Kean this month.

Heading to a club like Newcastle, who attract 50,000 adoring fans to every single home game, would be a brilliant stage to display his talents, with the Magpies in need of some fresh blood in attack.

Kean’s pace on the break would be a brilliant addition to a Newcastle team lacking in quality on the counter, and while there are part of his game which need work, there is no doubt he would rip it up in the Premier League.

With just ten days until the end of the window it is crunch time for Newcastle, and they must convert their heavy interest in Kean into an official loan bid.

Signing such an electric talent on a short-term deal is a risk-free no-brainer, and Magpies bosses must recognise that before it’s too late and they miss out on another Benitez target.
