COMMENTARY
West Ham seemed to deserve their 3-0 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday and that was a reflection of several of Rafa Benitez’s players not delivering the goods. In fact there wasn’t many who deserved adulation following their performances, but one man stood out for the right reasons. Ki Sung-Yueng looked like having that little bit of quality that a lot of his teammates lacked on Saturday and as one fan said, he didn’t really put a foot wrong during the match. It’s no surprise that one fan dub the player undroppable by saying he should never lose his place in the team, as on that performance he is at least one of the first names on the teamsheet. Ki’s passing a joy to behold and if the players around him excel, then it’s easy to see he could rack up the assists at St James Park if Benitez continues to trust him.
