OPINION
That is an absolutely stunning finish from Ayoze Perez. It’s very unfair on Rob Elliot to suggest that he’s got any chance of saving that, no keeper in the world would have saved that shot from the Spainard. This tweet suggests that the team sprit and camaraderie within the squad is really good ahead of next season. It’s good to see the players having a laugh and a joke with eachother on social media, it suggests that the Toon squad has got a real family feel. In order to be a successful team, everyone needs to pull in the same direction together and it looks like Newcastle are set to do that next season.
