Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is obviously keen to recruit fresh attacking talent to compliment his current strike force, who have been looking worse for wear lately.

Creative midfielders are essential in bringing out the talent of the strikers, and that is the sort of player that the Spaniard needs to recruit – and he must look to APOEL Nicosia attacker Roland Sarri, who is capable of unleashing the talent of new signing Yoshinori Muto.

According to the Sun, Fulham are on the trail of the Champions League side’s midfielder, but the Magpies must hijack this hunt in order to have Sallai for themselves.

Adjusting to the Premier League after arriving at a club can be a daunting experience, and first impressions count if a player is hoping to remain there for the forseeable future.

Muto needs someone to help him unleash the talent that he clearly has, but hasn’t had the opportunity to exploit fully yet – but a creative playmaker like Sallai will definitely do the trick.

He has netted nine goals for the Cypriot outfit during the 2017/2018 campaign, a number that can only increase by joining the Premier League club on Tyneside.

Strikers can only largely operate on the service they recieve, and if there is not enough it then they are not going to get the goals required of them.

The Hungarian international is capable of both providing and scoring goals – meaning that he will link-up excellently with the Japanese forward, who will need all the help he can get during his first few months there.

With West Brom forward Salomon Rondon possibly joining the ranks too, the Newcastle line-up is getting better by the day – and hijacking Fulham’s efforts to sign the 21-year-old will certainly enhance their chances of a top ten finish.
