Newcastle United must swoop for Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah as he will perfectly fix the Magpies’ problems in front of goal next season.

The Magpies desperately need to secure a prolific source of goals in order to kick-on next campaign and climb the table, as their lack of ability to put the ball away caused them to suffer disappointing results in the season just gone.

Benitez’s side only score 39 goals in 38 games and considering they impressively finished 10th in the league, who knows how much higher they could have finished with someone clinical in their squad.

Nketiah may only be 18-years-old and might just have only played 17 minutes of Premier League action in his career so far, with all his playing time coming in the 2017/18 season, but he will be a prolific force if given a chance.

The teenage forward has already showcased his ability for goals in the Premier League 2, as in the recently concluded season, he finished the campaign having scored 12 goals in 13 appearances.

The SunĀ previously reported in March that the Gunners were searching for another top-flight side to take Nketiah on loan for next season, as they believe he can make the grade at the Emirates, and regular football would aid his development.

The Gunners, who finished sixth in the league in their latest campaign, clearly rate the teenager highly as they’re looking for a top-flight club to do them a favour, so the Magpies must grab this opportunity to secure such a promising attacking talent.

It may only be for a season, but his arrival will no doubt leave much of the Magpies’ unknown transfer budget untouched, which would allow Benitez to get so much other needed business done.

Nketiah also is able to play on either wing, and given his pace could fly down the flanks at St James’ Park if called upon due to the squad being in need of a different option.

However the forward would clearly be best suited to fixing the Magpies’ major issue in front of goal if signed.

Therefore the Magpies must move to sign the forward, who is regularly hidden away at a top-six side in the Premier League given his lack of outings, as he would provide the goals that Benitez’s team currently lack.
