Three things for Rafa Benitez to ponder before Newcastle take on Arsenal

|

How to stop a player like Aubameyang?

A player Newcastle once coveted, Aubameyang is one of the form strikers in the Premier League with five goals in his last four games for Arsenal and six in total for the Gunners in the seven matches he has played since a club record £56 million move to the Emirates Stadium from Borussia Dortmund in January.

Aubameyang will be fit and firing on Sunday due to being cup-tied in the Europa League and Benitez will need his back-four to be at their most alert to quell the threat that will be inevitably posed by the Gabon international.

His tendency to drift into wide areas will have been noted by the United boss meaning Paul Dummett and Deandre Yedlin especially must keep a close eye on Aubameyang and prevent him from cutting inside on his lethal right foot, whilst limiting the supply to one of the most lethal finishers in the league.
