Nicolai Jorgensen
Denmark international Jorgensen was the primary target of Benitez in the January transfer window, but Newcastle refused to cough up the £20 million that Feyenoord valued their star striker at and he remained in the Netherlands.
His return of 13 goal and three assists in 33 matches this season is paltry compared to the numbers he posted in the 2016/17 campaign when he scored 25 times and assisted 17 in 42 games as Feyenoord won the Eredivisie title.
His all-round game and aerial strength appeals to Benitez, whose scouts have spent a considerable amount of time assessing his suitability to the Premier League, and the United boss could reignite his interest in the 27-year-old this summer providing the price is right.
