Newcastle United are just a few points away from securing their Premier League status for another season and Rafael Benitez has already started to outline plans for the summer.

The Spanish boss is eyeing significant additions to help the Magpies become more competitive next season and one international linked with a move to St. James’ Park is Trabzonspor’s Okay Yokuslu, although they’ll face competition from a number of fellow Premier League sides.

Turkish Football report Leicester City are the latest club to express an interest in the 24-year-old and it’s stated they have already lodged an enquiry, whilst they’re set to send representatives to watch Yokuslu in action on Monday.

Any interested party will be encouraged by the low release clause of just £6.6m in the contract of the Turkey international and it’s a figure that Newcastle can certainly match, despite Benitez having to work on a shoestring budget.

Crucially, Trabzonspor are also happy to sell and this increases the likelihood of the midfielder securing a summer move.
