Newcastle’s fine performances during the second-half of the Premier League season have not gone unnoticed, leading to a rise of interest from sides across Europe in a number of their key players.

The latest man to attract suitors on the continent is joint top-scorer Ayoze Perez, with Spanish outletĀ El Gol DigitalĀ stating Real Betis are keen to bring the Spain ace back to his homeland during the transfer market this summer.

The Andalusian side, fighting for a spot in next season’s Europa League, are keen on bringing Perez to the club as their first major recruit ahead of their continental campaign and are optimistic about securing a deal.

24-year-old Perez has hit form during Newcastle’s current four-match winning streak, scoring three goals in his last four matches.

It’s stated that Tenerife-born Perez is keen on a move to Betis, encouraged by the prospect of playing continental football, but Newcastle will be determined to retain his services for next season’s fight in the Premier League.
