Rafael Benitez has led Newcastle valiantly this season and the performances of Chelsea loanee Kenedy have not gone unnoticed.

A host of top European sides are now attributed with an interest in the Brazil starlet after his fine displays for the Magpies since January, which gives Benitez a stern task as he attempts to secure his own move for the 22-year-old.

With the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain said to be keen on Kenedy, Newcastle face a massive challenge in their attempts to bring the player back to St. James’ Park next season and Benitez has admitted another loan deal could be the club’s best chance of reaching an agreement.

Quoted by The Daily MailBenitez said:

‘I have seen the interview and what he said. I know his agent, so the point with him is that he’s doing well. I am happy because we’ve been winning and he’s been scoring goals and that’s fantastic for us and really good news for him.’

‘The situation is that Chelsea need to know where they will finish and we need to know where we will finish. There is plenty of time to talk. But if you’re asking me (if loan is perhaps best option), I’d say yes, you’d have to ask them as well.’

‘It wasn’t easy to bring him here and it won’t be easy to bring him here again.’

Kenedy has appeared nine times in the Premier League for Newcastle, scoring two goals and registering two assists.
