Newcastle United have overachieved on their ambitions this season, battling towards Premier League survival and potentially within a position in the top-half of the standings, but there’s still work to do.

Whilst still not mathematically secure from the drop, Newcastle need just a single point to put themselves clear of the relegation zone and Magpies ace DeAndre Yedlin has urged the club to continue ‘shooting higher’.

Speaking to the club’s official websiteYedlin said:

“We know what position we’re in now and we want to keep shooting higher, so the disappointing thing is that we weren’t able to move up the table. But, other than that, there’s more opportunities so we’re going to do the best we can in the next couple of games to try and move up the table.”

Newcastle tackle rock-bottom Premier League outfit West Brom this weekend, before finishing their campaign with clashes against Watford, Tottenham and Chelsea.
