Kevin Gameiro
The experienced French striker may well find himself out of the picture at Atletico Madrid following the return of Diego Costa to the Spanish capital and, as such, his services may become available- particularly if he’s got any chance of making France’s squad for this summer’s World Cup.
30-year-old Gameiro has the attacking edge in the final third that Newcastle require and he’d be the ideal leading man for the front-line, excelling with support from the likes of Christian Atsu, Matt Ritchie and Ayoze Perez.
With Atletico having an array of options in attack, Gameiro could be considered surplus to requirements and he may seek regular opportunities.
