Newcastle United continue to struggle to find movement on the January transfer market, with the Magpies yet to make a signing or sanction a significant departure so far in the mid-season window.
Rafael Benitez is desperate to rejuvenate his side with new additions, as they currently sit just two points above the relegation zone, and he’s seeking a new striker, a left-sided player and a talented goalkeeper before next week’s deadline.
Time is running out though and Newcastle continue to have restricted finances which is limiting their activity, which means that they will have to sell in order to fund the significant moves they’re eying- which results in a very busy spell.
With just over a week remaining in the mid-season transfer window, Newcastle need to be active and Benitez desperately needs to conclude these five transfer deals before the end of the month.
