Newcastle United are braced for a busy end to the January transfer window, which could see a number of significant arrivals and departures on the North East.
Rafael Benitez is keen to rejuvenate his side and landing his first signing of the window yesterday, securing Kenedy on-loan from Chelsea, but his work is not over as he seeks to add at least two more faces to his side- in the form of a goalkeeper and a striker.
However, finances at Tyneside remain restricted, especially with the Premier League club remaining on the market, and departures may have to be approved to finance the deals that Newcastle need to improve their standing.
Difficult decisions therefore lie ahead but a number of players should be allowed to leave in the final week of the window, with the departure of these three players in particular likely to raise significant funds on the market.
