Newcastle United are poised for a busy end to the January transfer window, as Rafael Benitez seeks to bolster his side with the addition of new faces for the relegation battle that lies ahead on Tyneside.
The Magpies have so far only managed to land the services of Brazilian starlet Kenedy on-loan from Chelsea and Benitez is understood to want at least two additions before the window shuts on Wednesday- though it’s proving to be difficult.
Being priced out of moves or facing straight up rejection, Newcastle may need to adjust their approach in the closing days of the mid-season window and luring players from the Championship could be a smart move.
Newcastle, as a Premier League side, certainly have the lure to snap-up some of the best talents from England’s second-tier and late moves for this trio should certainly be considered.
