Leicester City boss Claude Puel says he expects a tough fixture at St James’ Park at the weekend despite Newcastle’s awful run of form that has seen them go without a win in six games.

Rafael Benitez’s side have lost five of their past half-dozen top flight fixtures, their last three points coming against Crystal Palace on October 21st.

It’s a run of form that has seen the Magpies drop from as high as fourth in the league to 15th.

Despite what has been a poor month-and-a-half however, Leicester City boss Claude Puel says he expects an even game at the weekend.

“We have a lot of respect for Newcastle.” he said.

“They have a great manager with quality in the team.

“It’ll be a difficult atmosphere with 50,000 people and another good challenge.”

Leicester travel to St James Park on Saturday, with Claude Puel’s side looking to continue their fine run of form under the Frenchman.
