Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Rolando Aarons’ impressive performance against West Bromwich Albion last night.
Aarons, introduced as a second half substitute, played a key role in helping the Magpies overcome a two goal deficit at the Hawthorns to leave the Midlands with a valuable point.
The home side had led thanks to goals from Hal Robson-Kanu and Sam Field either side of half time, however a Ciaran Clark strike and a late Johnny Evans own goal secured an unlikely point for Rafael Benitez’s side, who bounced back from four consecutive top flight defeats.
The young Englishman, while not on the scoresheet, was electric upon his introduction and was a pivotal figure in making sure his side didn’t make it a dismal five Premier League defeats on the bounce.
Following his impressive display, the Toon army have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts …
Looking sharp is @RolandoAarons. Rafa likes him so reckon we'll be seeing more of him https://t.co/gYlwxLx8Yl

Rolando Aarons & Akeksandar Mitrovic are better than me and yee. Both need to start saturday.
Take that result after yet another shambolic Joselu performance & a poor 60mins from everyone else. #NUFC

Rolando Aarons impressed as did Jacob Murphy. Does Rafa Benitez sacrifice Matt Ritchie's leadership qualities for the youth of those two? There are worse dilemmas to face #NUFC

Your were top draw when you came on. Direct and effective every time you were on the ball. Here's to getting more game time and an injury free season from here. #NUFC
