Newcastle United face a crucial few weeks ahead as takeover talks rumble on, with the Magpies also looking to improve their form on the field.
Three consecutive Premier League defeats, which extended a poor run to just one win in six matches, has sent the Magpies tumbling down the table and Rafael Benitez’s side will now be looking over their shoulder at the drop zone.
Big things are expected in the New Year, should a takeover go ahead, but whilst the majority of reports will concern players potentially coming into St. James’ Park, there could also be a number of high profile exits.
Aleksandar Mitrovic is amongst those who could be on the way out after the Serbian striker hinted that his patience was growing thin due to a lack of regular first-team opportunities, which resulted in varied response on social media.
Whilst a number of fans have voiced their opinions for Mitrovic to be reinstated into the starting line-up, others are growing frustrated with the 23-year-old’s demands.

My patience is wearing thin with him, and I think Rafa has lost patience with him.

Shame if he goes really hope it isn't another Prem club

I could understand Rafa keeping mitro apart if Joselu and Gayle been playing well, but honestly think mitro deserves a chance to start now? We need a win desperately now and maybe some changes would do?

I miss seeing him on the pitch. He needs game time.

Regardless of which side of the fence you sit on the mitro debate, the lad never has a bad word to say about the club. He clearly wants game time though, and needs it in the build up to the World Cup. He’ll be off in jan..
