Crucially, Newcastle United need to stick to what they’re doing and trust in Rafael Benitez. The Spaniard has been around the block and knows a lot. If there’s a way into the Europa League for Newcastle, then it’s through him.
Benitez’s team selections at time this season have been criticised, particularly the continued overlooking of Aleksandar Mitrovic, but it should all come good at the end. Be patient, be loyal and Benitez may just surprise us all.
