Signed from Hull City in 2016, Mohamed Diame is clearly not considered to be good enough to start in midfield as he’s earned just one Premier League start this season, with a further six appearances coming off the bench.
Aston Villa have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old and Newcastle should definitely listen to offers, particularly as they could look to strengthen in midfield anyway- which would push Diame further down the pecking order.
