Besiktas have been the Champions League’s surprise package this season, with the Turkish side sitting top of their group after three matches and ahead of Porto, Monaco and RB Leipzig, with Cenk Tosun being the star man after a return of three goals in as many games.
That form has led to the 26-year-old attracting interest and Newcastle aren’t the only Premier League side reported to be interested in the Turkish international, with Crystal Palace also attributed with interest in the in-form forward.
