Newcastle United have been given a boost by the news that transfer target Hassane Bande could be available for a bargain price this January, reports HITC.
The KV Mechelen star has had a terrific start to the season scoring eight goals in 12 league appearances in the Belgian top division, despite his side sitting near the bottom of the Juliper Pro League.
While the star is being chased by a host of Europe’s top clubs including Valencia and PSV, Bande is reportedly available for a the bargain price £3.5 million – a price well within Newcastle’s limited budget.
Rafael Benitez is keen to add strength to his attacking line after what has been a poor start to the season for his current crop of strikers.
Joselu, Alexandar Mitrovic and Dwight Gayle have managed only 5 goals between them all season, with neither of the trio managed to find the net in the last three appearances – all of which have been defeats for Rafael Benitez’s side.
