Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United side are set to have their work cut out this weekend after the news that a number of Manchester United’s top players are due to return to action.

The Magpies travel to Old Trafford on Saturday, and will be welcomed by a newly fit United squad containing the likes of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo – all of whom have been announced to be fit and ready for the weekend’s clash.

Pogba has been out sidelined with injury for the past eight weeks, while Ibrahimovic is making is long awaited return to the United side after being controversially let go and subsequently re-signed during the summer.

To add insult to injury, Rafael Benitez is likely to without a number of his own key men for the meeting.

Mikel Merino remains sidelined, with a date for his return yet to be announced, while Paul Dummett, who has been out for a number of months, continues to miss out.
