Sign a top striker
Newcastle’s biggest issue this season has been in front of goal, as the Magpies are severely lacking consistency. Netting just three goals in the past five games, it’s obvious that this is the area that Rafael Benitez needs to strengthen in January.
If Newcastle are to force their way into the Europa League, then signing a top striker needs to be the priority. Top-class forwards are a dime a dozen but the potential influx of new cash can make the Magpies competitors in the market.
