Another international break is upon us and England boss Gareth Southgate has the problem of numerous absentees from his squad, with a number of top players sidelined for the upcoming friendlies with Germany and Brazil.
Southgate, true to his word, has called-up players from some of the ‘lesser’ sides in the Premier League with West Brom’s Jake Livermore and Swansea City’s Tammy Abraham amongst his selections- but Newcastle were overlooked.
There’s many who feel that Newcastle are a hotbed of talent and have players that could be useful for England in the two friendlies over the course of the next week and there’s a few players who can certainly feel disheartened by their lack of a call-up.
