Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa could be targeted by two MLS clubs, according to American reporter Kristian Dyer.

Speaking on the MSG Network (quotes via angelsonparade.com), Dyer believes that Orlando City or Los Angeles FC would be the two likeliest teams that will look to target the Frenchman:

“Ben Arfa is a player I hear potentially moving from PSG, could be a landing spot, I would think, LAFC or Orlando City.”

Ben Arfa has been frozen out by PSG since the start of the season after failing to secure a move away from the Parc des Princes. Newcastle and Rennes have been the only two clubs linked with the player until now but a move to MLS could be another possibility for the former French international.

At 30 years of age, the midfielder may be considering a new direction, but if the player retains any hope of revitalising his career at the highest level, he will have to stay in Europe. A return to Newcastle is no more than an unsubstantiated rumour at the moment but we will find out more the closer we get to January.
