Newcastle United have performed admirably since their return to the Premier League, boasting 11 points to their name and currently sitting pretty in the top-half of the table.
The Magpies have impressed following their Championship winning campaign last term, led by experienced boss Rafael Benitez, and there’s a renewed sense of optimism surrounding St. James’ Park- particularly following the news that Mike Ashley has put the club up for sale.
That should mean funds will become available for Benitez to spend in January, assuming a deal is completed before the New Year, and one man should be the first name on Newcastle’s wish-list; Cenk Tosun.
The Turkish international has been heavily linked with Newcastle over the course of the past month and he’d certainly be a solid addition to the side, as shown by the three reasons that we’ve identified here.
