Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has struggled since joining the club, suffering a horrific leg break, but for whatever reason he’s found himself on the wrong side of Jose Mourinho and a transfer for the England international seems likely.
Shaw needs an arm around his shoulder, that Benitez can provide, and regular football. It gives him a chance to work his way back to his best and become an important part of the side again, much like he was at Southampton before his transfer in 2014.
