Newcastle United youngster Deese Kasinga-Madia has been named as one of twenty of the Premier League’s hottest young talents in a list put together by newspaper The Guardian.

The list includes a player nominated from each of the twenty Premier League clubs, with Callum Hudson-Odoi of Chelsea, Manchester City’s Ivan Ilic and Liverpool’s Curtis Jones being amongst the names to complete the talent-clad shortlist.

Kasinga-Madia joined the Magpies during the summer after being snapped up from Brentford following his impressive performances in the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland.

“A pacey, technically gifted left-sider, comfortable on the wing or in a more central attacking midfield role, Kasinga-Madia is in the first year of a two-year scholarship on Tyneside.” reads his nomination.

“Already making his mark on Dave Watson’s under-18 side, he was born in DR Congo but grew up in London, where he became part of Brentford’s junior system. As befits a player who started out as a goal-hungry central striker, Kasinga possesses a decent shot.”
