Newcastle United’s decent form since their return to the Premier League has seen the Magpies benefit on and off the field, as experts have now revealed the latest market values of every member of Rafael Benitez’ first-team.
The Spanish boss has led his side to three victories and one draw from the opening seven matches, achieving ten points and therefore putting the Magpies a quarter of the way towards their magic 40-points target, but there’s certainly still work to be done.
Benitez wasn’t handed the financial backing he wants in the transfer market over the summer from chairman Mike Ashley, who’s made it clear he’s looking to sell the Tyneside outfit, but the news on player’s value, many of whom have increased, is a welcome boost.
The data comes from transfer experts CIES, who have assessed every member of the Newcastle United squad (25 in total). From that, 22 players have seen their value increase and just two have seen a decrease, with Dwight Gayle staying at the same price.
