Ian Wright claimed earlier this week that Newcastle is the perfect club for Sturridge, who’s encountered numerous injury issues, and he could certainly become a huge asset for the Magpies if he can return to full fitness.
Sturridge, at his best, is a prolific goalscorer and that’s exactly what Newcastle need due to the inconsistent performances of their forward options this year.
