Newcastle United have performed admirably in their return to the Premier League, with the Magpies currently boasting 11 points to their name and sitting in the top-half of the standings after eight matches.
There’s still a long way to go in Newcastle’s quest to secure survival and the next few weeks could be decisive, as the Magpies clash with Crystal Palace, Burnley and Bournemouth before travelling to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
The stand-out man in Newcastle’s successful regime at the moment is currently experienced manager Rafael Benitez, who has shown the capability of turning the Tyneside giants back into the force that they should be.
However, there have been bumps along the way and Benitez continues to be linked with a move to rival clubs- which is something that Newcastle need to be particularly wary about as they approach a crossroads in their future.
Mike Ashley, who has clashed with Benitez on a number of occasions, has put the club up for sale but Benitez may still be lured elsewhere if he doesn’t get the backing from any new owners- and the club need to be especially wary of these three sides.
