Newcastle United defender Issac Hayden has been given his FIFA 18 wish after being awarded a rating of 71.
The 22-year-old, who was rated a mere 55 in FIFA 16, and 66 in FIFA 17, was disappointed with his rating in previous years, and took to pleading with EA to up his stats ahead of the release of the new game at the end of the month – a wish that the developers granted.
“I just want to have a word with EA Sports because come on 55? I am sure I’ve got to be better than 55. Last year 55, this year [on FIFA 17] 66, I’ll take the little improvement but come on at least 70; give me a 70 at least.” said the former Arsenal defender speaking on Soccer AM.
“I’ll be happy with a 70/71, something like that [on FIFA 18].”
Hayden however is behind a number his team-mates.
The highest rated Magpies are Florian Lejeune at 79, followed closely by Henri Saivet at 79 and Jonjo Shelvey at 77.
FIFA 18 is set for September 29 release in the UK.
