Brendan Rodgers is yet to lose a domestic match with Celtic, going the entire SPL campaign last season undefeated and lifting a treble, whilst he also secured Celtic’s first Champions League group stage win in almost four years with a win over Anderlecht this week.
It’s extremely unlikely he’d have the same sort of record at Newcastle but he’d certainly be able to guide the Magpies to stability, potentially with a decent run in the cup along the way, to help craft Newcastle back into the club they should be.
