Newcastle United fans have taken to social media to criticise summer signing Joselu after yet another poor performance in front of goal.
The Spaniard failed to find the net in the Magpies narrow 1-0 defeat to Brighton at the weekend, however could have done so on multiple occasions, only to fluff his lines.
The former Stoke City man – who joined Rafael Benitez’s side last month for around £5 million – missed a golden opportunity at 0-0 to give the visitors the lead but saw his side go a inch wide of the post.
Last week, despite Newcastle coming out as 2-1 victors over Stoke thanks to a late Jamaal Lascelles goal, Joselu also missed a hat-trick of chances against his former club leading to some heavy criticism from the Newcastle fans.
Joselu scored only 4 times in his time with the Potters, however it was hoped the ex Real Madrid youngster would be able to re-discover his shooting boots on Tyneside – a wish that has thus far gone unfulfilled.
