Such has been his good form, a number of the Premier League’s big boys are now reported to be interested in the young toon, with several clubs at Blackpool’s most recent game against Oxford to monitor the midfielder.

Longstaff signed a new long term deal with the Magpies before his loan move to the League One club, and Blackpool manager Gary Bowyer is thought to be keen to extend the teenagers loan until the end of the season following his superb start.

The English youngster spent part of last season on loan with Kilmarnock, scoring 3 times in 17 outings.
