Newcastle United have sent scouts to cast keen eyes over Young Boys star Kasim Nuhu, according to Ghana Soccer Net.
Indeed, Rafa Benitez is said to have dispatched scouts to watch the defensive powerhouse in action for the Swiss side against CSKA Moscow in their Champions League last week.
Representatives are thought to have been in attendance at the Wankdorf Stadium last week despite the 22-year-old putting through his own net against the Russians.
However, that is believed to have been the culmination of a few weeks worth of monitoring his progress and Nuhu is believed to have ‘met their expectations’ despite his own goal.
A positive report is said to have been sent to the club as Young Bhoys await some concrete interest in their defender.
