Emmanuel Riviere could finally be on his way out of Newcastle.

According to a report on the Turkish Football website local side Osmanlispor are in talks to sign the striker.

Riviere spent last season on loan at Osansuna but failed to find the net in 15 appearances with the Spanish side quickly deciding against making the move permanent.

The striker was signed from Monaco in 2014 for £5m but has contributed just one league goal since moving to St James’ Park.

Rafa Benitez sanctioned the loan move to Osasuna and told the striker that he had no future with Newcastle when he returned for pre-season training.

With a year left on his contract Newcastle will only be looking for a nominal fee for the 26 year old who has also been linked with a move to Metz.

Even though Newcastle have still to sign a striker since winning promotion there is no chance of Benitez performing a u-turn over Riviere.
