Joe Hart won’t be joining Newcastle United on loan.

According to a report in The Sun Manchester City won’t contemplate another season on loan with an £18m price tag on the goalkeeper.

Hart spent last season on loan at Torino but that deal involved City paying more than half of his £120,000/week wages.

Newcastle are in the market for a new goalkeeper but it’s not known if their finances could stretch to the £18m fee plus Hart’s terms which would include a hefty signing on fee.

West Ham are also in the market for a keeper with Watford emerging as contenders over the last few days with Pep Guardiola making it clear that there is no way back for the keeper despite City’s defensive problems last season.

Following his below par display against Scotland last month Hart’s international place is now in question with the keeper keen to get his future settled ahead of a World Cup season.
